Yahoo mail users now enjoy 1GB storage

I was surprised when I open my Yahoo email account today. The capacity has increased drastically from 250MB to 1GB. They really try hard to compete with Gmail (free email service from Google). The only difference is everybody can register with Yahoo email and enjoy 1GB storage while that's not the case with Gmail.

You need to be invited by existing Gmail users and register for free. Gmail users also enjoy 2GB free storage on the account which you can use to store anything.

I think it is really true what Google says "Don't throw anything away".
